January, established out of concern for the welfare of participants living with a disability not receiving the support services they required and deserved. Today, our expectations are higher than ever before. We believe that all people, regardless of disability or adversity, deserve to live a life that is rewarding, healthy and socially included. With continued changes in social attitudes to disability, our role has changed to include employment, training, respite, recreation and a variety of accommodation options. Motivated by Asher Support Services has been providing services in Brisbane and surrounding areas since ur Mission, Vison and Values Asher has grown to encompass a wide range of services including disability, youth, children’s and community services, supported by a dynamic and rapidly expanding team of staff.
Asher provides disability services across Brisbane and planning to expand into other states as well as going into aged care in 2026.
It is an exciting time for the organisation as it sets its sight on future opportunities and expansionary activities.
It is our expectation that in future, Asher are committed to strive for creating connections, building relationships and helping people define their own goals to realise their full potential through innovation and integration of clinical practice with lifestyle pursuits.
Most importantly, that we will remain a strong voice in the journey towards achieving human rights for all people with disability. In short, it is our expectation that will we deliver Asher promise: empowering you to live the life you choose and be independent.
